Performance Prep Masterclass with Katie Dean
In this 90-minute class, we’ll workshop performance strategies that help prepare for performance. Part discussion and part practical physical exploration, we’ll explore various preparation forms, from breathwork and visualization, to meditation, to building a warm-up that steadies the nervous system and readies the body and mind for performance, allowing performers to find a flow state in performance to be embodied and present. Participants will be invited to build their toolkit for performance readiness through practical steps and explore what tools help them feel prepared, present, and responsive.
Open to all levels of dance and theater performers, or any performer who is open to moving their body as part of performance prep!
Please bring: a notebook and pen

Trisha Brown Dance Company Workshop
Please join us for a special series taught by Sandra Grinberg. Throughout the week we will work on a phrase from the quartet "Glacial Decoy" that premiered in 1979 in New York City.
This phrase glides and slides from side to side. Small and large movements are very detailed and flow together in a beautiful, often unexpected way. During the class we will do a short warm up to start, then work on the phrase, building on it throughout the week.
For those that sign up for the whole week, we will be meeting every night 5:30-6:45, cost is $75.
Drop ins are also welcome for $18.
Here is an excerpt of the performance of Glacial Decoy in 2009!
