Chloë Hellerman
Chloë began dancing with the Blue Ridge Irish Music School (BRIMS) at the age of nine. Her repertoire spans traditional hard and light shoe step dance as well as old-style sean-nós, though she frequently draws inspiration from tap and other dance forms. Chloë manages the BRIMSvideo archive, preserving the unique oral history of traditional Irish dance in the Blue Ridge and cataloging her extensive library of original choreography. She has performed across Virginia and internationally with world-renowned musicians, discovering a love for traditional Irish music along the way. Outside of her day job as an architectural designer in Staunton, Chloë can be found playing traditional Irish flute at local pubs, hiking with her cat, Peachie, or planning her next trip to Ireland.
