Amber Corriston is one fortunate woman! Not only is she the wife of Ryan (a dance professor at JMU) and mom to Toby and Elsie, but she works with so many fantastic students in the Harrisonburg area. She is the Director of HHS Dance, a teacher in the HHS Fine Arts Academy, owner of Corriston Movement and Dance (CMAD), and is the choreographer of the HHS musical. Amber double majored in Dance and Communications at the University of Washington and taught dance throughout Seattle, New York City, and Connecticut. A long, long time ago, she was Miss Washington 1995 in the Miss America Scholarship Program! When not teaching, she enjoys exploring other towns, hiking, and running. She is thankful to live in an area that embraces and supports the arts!
